I’m Sandy Flett,

Children’s book illustrator and author.

This is me in my favourite creating clothes –

my lovely Dad’s old woolly jumper and beanie created by my lovely Mum.

(I live in one of the coldest places in Australia!)

I love to wear these to help me feel super comfy and warm as I create my stories and pictures with my old fashioned pencils, special pens, messy inks and swishy paint brushes.

(Annoying ant often comes to visit my artwork.)

(I wish he wouldn’t.)

But my best ever arty-farty friends are

Miss Apple Pencil and Mr iPad Pro.
